Excellent article. Overseas Indian communities can fo a lot for India if the India offcials make it easier for Indian communities to get invovled in India's development. The passport surrender issues were borught in out of no where. I fail to understand how it helps in impproving security of India to get all those passports which are already expired.
NRIs and PIOs can be actively invovled in technology transfer to India. Again the ball is in India's court to tap NRI/PIO professional resources.
